Privacy Policy

Who runs this service

SelfRecode is operated by an independent developer. For any privacy question, data request, or deletion request, contact help@mail.articledojo.com. We respond to requests within 30 days.

What we collect

What we don't collect

Who processes your data

Each of these processes data under its own privacy terms. We share only what the service needs to do its job.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for things the app can't work without: keeping you signed in, remembering your last voice and mode, caching your credit balance so the header doesn't flicker, and holding a recovery pointer so a generation interrupted by a locked phone can be picked back up. If you choose a save folder for your MP3s, the reference to that folder is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep things

Your account and scripts are kept until you delete them or ask us to close your account. You can delete any individual script from your library at any time, which removes it from our database. Server logs are retained by our hosts on their own short rolling schedules.

Your rights

You can ask us to export your data, correct it, or delete it entirely — including your account. Email help@mail.articledojo.com from the address on your account. If you're in the UK, EU, or California, the rights your local law grants you apply here regardless of where we're based.

Children

SelfRecode isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to your library and credits is scoped to your own authenticated account on every request. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise — but we don't hold card data, and we don't hold your audio.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who processes it, we'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell account holders by email.
